Yes, I think everything is going up in price. Some companies, especially with food, are raising the price and reducing the quantity in the container at the same time.
The papers claim that we are on the verge of deflation in the economy. I would tend to disagree because everything we need to sustain ourselves on a day to day basis is continuing to increase in price.

ive also noticed if you buy food on a bowl the bottom has a dome now,same look in size till you open :duh

I agree about deflation. It's coming, but not until inflation has its way, with oil leading the way. When that final bubble in commodities pops, sell your audio gear and buy seeds.

Deflation should occur before inflation. Hopefully, we'll avoid serious deflation though we've already seen it to a point. When inflation hits, it's going to be a bugger. Gold will be your friend. Savings accounts, CD's and govt bonds will pay some good interest again - provided you have any money left to actually save anything
