I am impressed by the mids. Any thoughts on the bass?

A couple of things... why do the nerdy guys always get the good looking girls? It seems like a few of the women I've known have excelled at muttering under their breath..
Thanks for the laugh. She is the youngest and most talented I've ever seen  :thumb:

She is pretty good isn't she. She and Mandy Harvey, a singer who is deaf, just blow me over this year.

I love the ambience, very open, hear the hall etc. I am still wondering if the bass is enough. Here is the same performance from another Youtube.

Between the two different youtube recordings of the rabbit/darci, which do you think sounded better? There was a difference in the fullness and bass.

Here is another one from Mandy Harvey, who has been deaf for 10 years. This song is recorded very well.

This song is dedicated to my sister, who became deaf in her mid 20s. She worked to help hubby obtain a medical doctor degree; then started/finished college and obtained her teaching degree. She now teaches deaf kids, some 17 years now.

Here's a cover of two Gentle Giant tunes. The first one is played note for note from the album. gotta love that guitar work.

I happen to own a viola, and came across this well recorded viola solo. Of course it will sound fuller than a violin. Strings will also make a difference, but I was pleased when the recorded viola sounded close to mine. Minimalist recording.

A point that needs to be emphasized is that the recording equipment is half the recording quality, and often the equipment is not that good. This recording happens to be quite excellent.

Here is a selection by Janos Starker playing cello. I think this recording is good for checking for abnormalities in the upper bass to ~lower midrange in one's system.

Here is a link with a kid striking the lowest and highest piano keys. Simple, but can expose a lack of tonal accuracy and dynamics. Does the piano sound real on your system?

Can speaker adjustment help? Might be a good time to try full pillows (walmart $3.75 for full pillows), cheap, portable, and can help with the waf.
