GIK Art Panels
« on: February 15, 2009, 02:52:54 PM »
After many many requests (and me banging on Glenn for over a year now), we've finally gotten our Art Panels on the site and ready to go.  These are essentially our 242 Elite Panels but with your choice of art on the cloth using a dye sublimation process so it doesn't interfere with the acoustical properties.  We can do a single picture spread across a series of panels or a single picture each.

Here is a pic of one of the series panels

More information can be found here.

Other art can be used provided it's in enough resolution to be scaled properly.

Finally someone has produced an attractive panel and made it available for sale.  These might actually meet the WAF.  Nice job!
I really enjoy listening to music.

My wife wants me to find something like this

and break it up into 2-3 panels.  I need to find something with more background and less white space.

Hey Brian, BRILLIANT!!!!!   They look great. They should sell very well. Best of luck. BTW the prices are quite fair. A winner for sure.

Thanks for the kind words guys.  We hope these are going to be a good seller for us.

Here is the other turntable pic I was trying to post.  Just have to get him to mod it so the stylus doesn't look like a tree trunk!

Thanks for the save Carl!

Would you guys mind posting a pic or 2 each of something that would interest you ( and the significant other if applicable) for a single or a series?  We're just trying to get a better handle on the types of things people want so we can maybe have a few 'standard' offerings.

The last one LW posted is exactly what I'd be looking for.. and my wife would like it too.
If you could commission an artist who has a cool/hip style that isn't too bold you might get something really nice and unique.. There should be a good many local artists looking for work right now.

If I was a single guy...this would look very nice up on my wall.....or cooking me breakfast!

Cars would be another thing that I think would go over well. If I could get some manufactures to pay for it, company logos is another area I would look at. The marketing guy in me says you should look hard at this area.

Nice one John. Do you think that will help your WAF?

I thought about pictures of musical heros, favorite artists, etc. They can adorn the walls like a shrine, and do some good acoustically too.

Probably these wouldn't be a standard series material.... But you could do genres, like classical Beethoven Brahms, Bach, Shubert, Haydn, etc.  Then Blues guitarists, Jazzers, hard rock lead singers, etc. Mayber a half dozen in each category would allow people to pick their favorite three.  Finding non-copyrighted pictures of modern stars could be difficult. But even if you pay for them it might still be worthwhile.
