Nice to hear it's sounding better Rich. I have become quite fond of the Jantzen Z-Superior. They use the same counterwound construction as the Mundorf to reduce inductance and while expensive they are not in the category of silly money. The downside is that like the Mundorf they are physically very large since it takes twice the windings to make a specific cap vs a standard design. The Obbligato premiums are also very nice, especially where the Jantzen won't fit.

That's good to know Mike. I bought these to replace smallish MKT1813s in Sols 60 watter. But somehow they ended up in my preamp instead  :wtf:
But the Obbligatos being smaller might fit better in his amp.  Plenty of room in the GG of course.
