New Avatar?
« on: February 09, 2019, 08:22:09 PM »
So.... I liked the snail pic I've had for years now. I thought it was a neat pic. However, due to the magic of the internet, it was twisted and distorted, and frankly never looked "right".
So, I've chosen a new image. I'd like to know how this one looks.
It's the guitar from "El Ten Eleven" (a band) that played here in STL a few years back. I snuck up near the stage and grabbed the photo.
Not sure what my "image" should be, I always thought that it should be an extension of oneself.
Regardless, I'd like opinions on how this avatar appears.

Thanks!

Thanks guys. Yea, I liked the snail too. I'm still using it on another forum, but there it looks right. Not sure why the aspect ratio got messed up here. It was, by the way, a snail that was on the window of my truck in the garage. Can't imagine how it managed to get there, but there it was. haha

Thanks for keeping the offer standing Don!

He hasn't logged on in five months. But he's still active (today) on AC.  :-k
Did something happen here (I wonder out loud)?

Sometimes things happen to cause us to re-prioritize our lives.  So many of the guys that I've learned from at various forums are longer around in one way or another.  I keep hoping that Chris will show up again one day.

Gotta love El Ten Eleven - a duo that kills it!

Great choice for an avatar.  That custom Carvin has been around a long time!

Chris coming back would be awesome. True though, that sometimes we 'fall off the map', and just disappear. Sadly.
But since he's still posting elsewhere, that means he's ok.

Yea, I love El Ten Eleven. That's some of that "weird chill out music" I started a thread about. Looking for fellow like-minded weirdos. haha
Thanks for the complement and link about the image.
