the seemingly never ending perils of Dave.
I have some news. As most of you know I was in a near fatal traffic accident in 2012. Circling the drain, was I. It has manifested itself in multiple physical medical problems ever since, mostly back issues.
Two months ago I had a spontaneous collapse of the T6 vertebra and a prolapse of the 6/7 disc. This has lead to tremendous pain and me being even slower than normal in getting product shipped. I want to thank all of the people that have extended incredible grace to me during this time.
We don't know for sure even after bone and marrow biopsies done two weeks ago to determine what is going on. I will finally be having surgery to correct this in the next week or so. They (you know: them ; the doctors) still want results from a particular blood test to determine whether or not I have multiple myeloma.
Irony alert! This is the test that our daughter Alicia, Doctor of Internal Medicine at Legacy Health Care in Portland wanted me to have 2 months ago. Bottom line is this: I told my doctors (two months and counting) that I wanted this test run. I have a surgical consult on Monday and hopefully they will have the results from this latest blood work for the consult.
I'll keep ya'll posted.
Thanks again for your great patience and concern.
