I have a Marantz UD5007 DVD/SACD player and it sounds great. I also have a Marantz CD6005 and I cannot tell the difference when playing regular CD's. When I play the SACD's in the 5007, it just opens up a whole new dynamic in sound. There are not a lot of SACD's on the market, but the jazz ones I have are outstanding. Dave Bruebeck's Take Five is one of my favorites.

I personally have not heard the TEAC, but I can vouch for the Marantz UD5007.
