Dual Dac
« on: January 11, 2015, 07:52:26 AM »
Here i go again, has anyone ever tried running a dual dac config? Using two of the same dacs but one for left channel and one for the right. I wonder if there's a way to seperate the digital left and right channels at the source before dac?  It might free up processing power and demands on each dac that could be audible.

I think some of the manufacturers do it internally to the chassis, but I see what you are saying, kind of like mono blocks. I guess it would work, Im not sure how much improvement in SQ there would be if any.
