Is it a type of clicking noise when your CDP is playing? My Oppo BDP-83 made this odd noise when I would start playing a CD or DVD. Then when it was playing it made these clicking noises. I had to send it to Oppo because discs would stop playing in about an hour. They never told me what was wrong but the player was replaced.

not really clicking more hi frequency sounds that are hard to describe. But they are loud enough that I can hear it from my seat 8 ft away on quiet passages. I figure I'll look for a used cd player but of higher quality than my Denon. I am seeing Cary, Music Hall, Cambridge etc.
