Nice pick ups there.   I'm curious, what was an average price for LP's in your area?

That's a really tough question, because used record prices are all over the map depending on what you are looking at. For example, the Pablo LPs I picked up this weekend were mostly $3.99 with a few of them going for $5.99. But at the same time original Blue Note albums often sell in the area of $20 but certain titles go for many multiples of that.

Unfortunately the prices on used LPs is often driven by the collector's market, which can get very strange very quickly.
Remember, it's all about the music........

I have a VPI 16.5 that has provided me with uninterrupted and faithful service since 1988. (I think at this point it should qualify for combat pay!.  :lol:)

Not a single record, new or used hits my TT without at least one pass on the RCM.

I also have a hand steamer which get used on an occasional basis for stubbornly dirty records.

I believe Bill has a 16.5 as well.
