I'm not much of a TV buff; but 24 has captured my attention since it's inception. And this season is something else...it's got to be the fastest hour on television. Can't wait to see what happens next week Anxious ...

btw, if you like that sort of thing, try reading Vince Flynn's novels; real page turners.

I'm on season 4 (dvd collection) love/hate. It makes me crazy the way they push my stress buttons non-stop! Also I really sometimes have a hard time with Keifer Southerland in the part. he's either in some kind of daze or he's running like a madman. Hard to put down though. The same kind of thing, but far more sophisticated (read British), is Spooks. I like this much more. The pace is more human and the characters better draw. They make a good contrast.

NO! I mean Caspar! (just kidding) Actually season four of 24 is better than I thought. Spooks is far more realistic and believable. The peole really engage your feelings, whereas in 24 they tend to appear and disappear in the the heat of action before you know how you really feel about them. They are more 2 dimensional is what I'm getting at. This is totally off the subject and I try to avoid doing that but...last year I was given the complete set of "Six Feet Under". I was totally blown-away. I think this is a modern masterpiece which will one day be considered a milestone of American 20th cent. art. I've never seen anything like it before or since and I doubt I ever will. One of those magic moments when everything comes together in a great achievement. You know what?
I have lived ouside the states for 43 years and this made me very proud to still carry a US passport. (he's all weepy Shocked ) Something else which impressed me very much, although it is artistically flawed, was "Angels in America" Oh boy I really have strayed...so I'm continuing 24 tonight...my nails are almost all gone!

I am a big fan of this series, my Monday nights are reserved for Prison Break and 24. But after 5 years of it, I think the formula is beginning to show, plots are being recycled and the action is beginning to look ragged. I think they should retire the series after this season...

The last time I saw Jack he was somewhat the worse for wear in a Chinese freighter outbound...don't tell me! If he got out of that one...well he's the man.

I really wanted to watch 24 when it first came out and for whatever reason it didn't happen and I have yet to watch an episode.

I hate TV only because the few shows that I have gotten into seem to get canceled right away and it drives me nuts! Another thing that makes me goofy is that I will get into a show as a result of a charachter I like and BANG! they leave the show. (See James Caan and Las Vegas)

I watch one show on a regular basis now and that is House.
