nope its a straight up pause-says on the remote

it also has a strange shutdown procedure -if you do it wrong the remote goes into search mode and you have to remove the battery to get it to stop-

Carlman

Make sure you download the latest firmware and software... for the Duet, remote, and slimserver itself.

Sorry - can't help you - never turn the SB off and never turn my PC off.  Also, I'm using SB's, not Duets.

I am serious... and don't call me Shirley

Hold the Home button down to shut off the remote.

I think there is a command in the remote menu that shuts off the receiver, iirc

im starting to get it figured out

You'll get it, hang in there. When it works it is a great source, especially with a nice DAC.

rosconey

just got the live music archive to work-

found some big head tod and the monsters of rock -now jack johnson live from Paris-

its still a quirky tempermental sucker :duh

Try the new beta 7.3, supposed to be a good improvement for wireless networking. Let us know.

rosconey

well i just got around to hooking my dac and the squeezereciever to my belkin power conditioner-
it added a bit of focus and db's-had to turn it down a bit-

also bought the hdam module from a ebay vendor to replace the opamps in the dac-not sure what one it is-lol

rosconey

:duh duet has been a bitch for the last week- i used my laptop on batteries and forgot to switch back to standard power mode from power saver mode-

now its back to be finicky and not unruly

richidoo

Make sure you got that new firmware from SqueezeCenter 7.3.2. That seems to be fixing a lot of problems. Report back if it helps you? Thanks
Rich
