This Friday 12th is Friday Favorites Concert at NC Symphony. It starts at 11am for about 1.5 hours total, no intermission, open seating, only $20. The new chick is conducting. Playing some nice Tchaikovsky including the most famous Violin Concerto of all, played by concertmaster Brian Reagin, he is awesome, huge fat beautiful sound. I'm gonna sit right up front to hear him well, but you can sit anywhere you like.  Anybody want to meet me there?

Rich,

Back in 1989 I had the opportunity to hear Yehudi Menuhin and Pinkus Zuckerman play at Carnegie Hall. A friend of mine work for the company that underwrote the program and we got to sit ion the sponsor's' seats, which were 5th row center in the orchestra.

Now I always knew that Carnegie was a great sounding venue, but I had never heard anything as glorious as a solo violin from the 5th row.

If you can get anywhere near the front, do it. It will be a real sonic treat.
Remember, it's all about the music........

We have season tix 6th row center, right behind the conductor. It is a great spot.  :thumb:

These Friday Favorites programs are general admission, so it's a nice opportunity to try out different seats.
