Wow, Gene, you are really going for it!  I like your taste in music!!

Do you have Morgan's Take Twelve?

There are some heroin induced fudges for sure, but it has some incredible playing. First track called "Raggedy Ann" is one of Morgan's best solos on record, but he really fucks up the title track, it has hard changes. It has Louis Hayes, a great side.

On AC I had made it a Miles Tuesday.  8)

This is all the Lee Morgan I have, spent New Years in the ole hometown of Boston, while waiting for the fireworks stopped into Newbury Comics and grabbed the following CDs, many at discount;

Mingus - "AH UM"
Miles - "Milestones"
Miles - "Dig"
Miles - "Cookin'"
L. Morgan - "The Sidewinder"
L. Morgan - "Leeway"
B. Evans - "Riverside Profiles"

Running through it all to break in a replacement tube in my pre. Next will be the new KoL CD.

I remember visiting Newbury comics, nice place. Glad to know they are still kickin.  First time I ever saw a record cleaner was in that place. I used to go to another place up on Boylston near Mass Ave called Looney Tunes. They're gone now... I bought a lot of Blue Note import cutout LPs for $4 each back in the day, mid 80s.

I think you did pretty good on your shopping trip.  :thumb:

I remember buying a whole bunch of Blue Note and Verve Japanese cutouts from Disc-o-Mat in NYC at right about the same time.  :D
