Title: IEM Choices
Post by: Brap on August 26, 2016, 12:23:31 PM
Need to get a set of IEM's.  Thought about Klipsch and B&W since I have their speakers at home but read some reviews about Westone's. Listened to their W30 and W50 last night. W50's very tight and nice imaging, great response.  Who has tried any of these? Appreciate it.

You see IEMs on Massdrop.com all the time.  Often, they're cheap crap, but occasionally, they're highly rated (via headfi, etc...).    They're almost always priced well.  Might be worth keeping an eye out.

Going with Westone W50's.  Got a great deal on demo's from my local reputable Hi-Fi shop, Holm Audio. These sound awesome and loaded an Onkyo app for my iphone tunes.

The couldn't charge big bucks for them if they were called earbuds like the $4.99 things from WalMart.
