Title: Hooking Up A Balanced Headphone Amp
Post by: Jack in Wilmington on October 23, 2018, 11:49:17 AM
All right guys, put on your thinking caps.

I'm looking to upgrade my headphone amp and was thinking about going balanced. How can I hook up a balanced headphone amp if I only have one set of balanced outputs on my preamp?

I would think a simple XLR Y Connector would do the trick.

I am sure  there are better quality ones available , but this is the type of device you would need.

Just be careful when you order one. Y+They come both 1 female to two males and one male to two females. Be sure to check which you need and get the right one.
