FS: Zu Audio Druid V - Piano/Gloss Black
« on: May 06, 2017, 11:09:05 AM »
Up for sale is my Druid V.  The speakers are about 3 years old.  Both speakers have rub marks which you cannot see from your seating position and are only visible up close. I would rate them 8/10.

The sale includes Zu Libtec 2.5m speaker cable with Zu ZuB3 connection on end and spades on the other.

Looking for 3900 + shipping + paypal fees if not using friends and family.

Additional Pictures from the Lampizator event - http://www.audionervosa.com/index.php?topic=6119.msg78300#msg78300

If you are local to 08540 you are more than welcome to stop by and audition the speakers.

You are certainly not going to need a 500 WPC Moscode to drive those.

I still need to purchase a amp that can drive them.  Need to unload the 2a3 SET amp before I can start looking  :thumb:

Congrats on the purchase of the Spatial Audio M3 Turbo S speakers. I got the little brother The Spatial Audio M4 Turbo S speakers. All I have to say is make sure your amp can handle 4 ohm or lower loads. I know Clayton specifies that and I forgot. I hooked up my Accuphase E202 to them and played Nora Jones' latest album and the distortion was gut wrenching. I stopped the track immediately. The current amps I use with the M4 Turbo S are the Response Audio BellaMax 60 monoblocks that use 2 6C33C tubes in each amp. Very nice sound to me.

Anyway best of luck with the sales.

Nope, not getting tired of the Druids but I had to combine my system into a dual purpose setup and I like listening to Druids with tubes, which does not work well when kids want to listen.  I know the kids will be able to handled the turning on and off the tube gear but I am scared of them accidentally burning themshelves  #-o

Fully understand. Didn't get back into tube gear until the kids were much older.
