Yes they are gorgeous, and a really great value. I was surprised to discover over the winter that I actually like my DIY speakers better. I enjoyed comparing them to the Revels, and seeing how good they are beside a great reference.
The designer of my DIYs recently published a new article on how to convert them from 2 ways into true 3 way speakers with passive crossover at 200Hz. I had already started that frustrating process before the Revel side-trip, so his article inspired me to get back into the 3way project.
