Watching "Hitch" with my wife who is home sick today. The movie is produced by Overbrook Entertainment and starts with their logo:

I never thought I would see a vinyl LP in an MMA podcast but in the beginning segment we see a record played on cheap Crosley table.

"Powered by a 361-cu.in. V-8 that develops a stout 345 horsepower, this great-looking 1958 De Soto Adventurer convertible is one of only 82 examples built. It was shown by its proud owner, Vernon Smith, from Swift Current, Newfoundland."

It won best of class award among American postwar production cars at Amelia Island Concours in 2016.

Of course it won because it has a record player under the dash!

It was featured on my fav TV show Chasing Classic Cars.

Note the key to lock it up. Proof it was designed by audiophile engineers.  ;)

Fascinating to see a record stacker play vinyl with the arm upside down.
Those cars were beautifully restored. Thanks for the treat, Rich

A truly disgusting ad:

https://www.ispot.tv/ad/wBOz/xeljanz-xr-vinyl-collection

"Needles. Essential for vinyl, but maybe not for people with rheumatoid arthritis."

Really?

I know this isn't popular media but when I saw this I just couldn't resist. The wife drags me to Marshalls to make a return and this is the 1st display I see out in front. Methinks the manager loves vinyl and wants them to be in everyone stockings this Christmas.

The latest episode of Billions had a VPI turntable prominently queued up just before a fairly disturbing sex scene.

I think the director had balls making that robotic skeleton strip and show what little boobs she had. Sorry, that was very disturbing to me. Grosser than watching fat people boink.

The latest episode of "Splitting Up Together" ABC sitcom featuring Jenna Fischer's boobs will hasten your recovery.

Faux millennial hipster / vintage gear audiophile has his stereo system in a giant sandbox.  The sand buries his records.
