Title: 12FQ7 Tube
Post by: Emil on April 15, 2016, 02:15:29 PM

I'm thinking of replacing them in my  20 something year old Quicksilver 300B so I did a search for replacements and have found that they are hard to find. I have a feeling that they may have never been replaced so I contacted Quicksilver. He wants $60 a pair and told me the only way to know if they need replacing is to replace them and listen.

What would a weak 12FQ7 input or any other input tube sounds like?

Thanks

Noisey, grainy, dull, lifeless. Get RCA 12FQ7 from Andy at Vintage Tube service and be happy. He has the best.
