Squeezebox, a pair of Audioengine A2s and a lake
« on: June 14, 2009, 03:47:14 PM »
OK, on vacation at Lake Lure NC.  Within 10 minutes of arriving, got the squeezebox, A2 speakers, hardrive and computer set up, sipping on a glass of wine, listening to tunes while watching the sunset with my sweet wife.

Life is good!

A winner it was!  But, alas, all too short.  Back home again and ready for some tunes...

Damn, now where the hell did I leave my amp....

If you let me play this Chet Baker record on your Stabi I'll bring the amp back over there right now.

Welcome home Mike!

Rich,  you are welcome to spin vinyl with me anytime!

I hope the DNA-500 has been working for you.   Do you still have it or have you taken it to Carl's yet?    If it's in use, I'm good to wait until Carl's G2G next weekend.    Just keep me posted!

With this amp, blackmail is to be expected.  :-)

I'm all done Mike - fully satisfied and impressed - Morris the Cat can't find anything wrong with it. It's gonna be a tough wait til I can get one for myself. Carl also wanted to try it, but he is faster analysis than me. I will it get to him asap, then he can bring it over to you sooner than g2g.  Thanks again.

Bryan I like your recipe, bipolar class a with tube pre.  8) Thanks

Yeah.  I've been through a TON of permutations over the years and almost always come back to that combination.

I was hoping to have a mini-meet tonight and try out that amp but it appears I'm in day 2 of upholstery and bass-trap building.. So, it'll have to wait till another day.  Sometime this week will work for me for a mini-meet and amp comparison.
So, enjoy the DNA for another day or 2, Rich... :)
