I expect to be down there at that point Rich so I hope to meet all the guys. Please PM me your address.

Not sure what Laura is planning (what is your wife doing?).

Looking forward to it. Please put a list together of foods and such so
we can put our names next to which ones we can bring.

Thanks for the invite

I'll be there :thumb:!

Want me to bring any 'stuff'?

I'll try to get some cookies baked, for the event.

Yay!

"Steve Stuff" is always welcome! Maybe a pair or two of purple XLRs for DAC and amps to Ref 1?

Food and soft drinks will be provided. A $5 donation is welcome but not required. BYOB.

Ladies are very welcome to attend. Julie will far, far away.

Thanks Rich. Had a great time today. Your little speakers are showing a lot of promise. Sounded pretty good.

Rich,

Once again, thanks to you (& your family) for allowing us to 'invade' your wonderful home  :D!

I was definitely impressed with your DIY speakers  :thumb:. Good, smooth overall sound, only lacking in low bass punch...not surprising in 2-way monitor-type speakers. Well done!

Your chip amp sounded nice, but Sol's i15 was definitely a step up...no surprise there. His designs have always impressed me, especially considering the small packages and what would probably turn out to be quite reasonable prices...if he ever put them in a production stage .

Your Sabre DIY DAC still sounds nice, but I feel it was bested by the small and amazingly priced iFi 'toys' that we 'plugged' into your system.

So, thanks again, for your wonderful hospitality.

Thanks to all who came by, especially those who travelled a very long way. Thanks for bringing gear, food, libations, advice and honest critique.  I am once again motivated to continue the journey.  8)

Rich- a big thanks for hosting again.  Great time, great company and music.

Also enjoyed comparing richs chip amp/ AR ref 1 preamp to the little Sols 15watt integrated amp with captive lamp cord cable.  I don't know how he designs his pieces so well.  It had precision, focus, snap and better bass control than the comparison amp/pre combo.

Also- was great to see some old faces and meet some new people. Great time.
