Title: Intro to room acoustics article
Post by: richidoo on September 10, 2007, 12:59:27 PM
I just found this pretty good article (http://www.crutchfieldadvisor.com/S-Mfujn4v6vOt/learningcenter/home/speakers_roomacoustics.html?page=1) about room acoustics on Crutchfield.com technical advice section. It is very simple and relatively non-technical, I enjoyed reading it more than the usual textbooks. This is written for the HT wannabe, not an audiophile or pro acoustics guy, but is very informative on the basics. But good info on relative absorbent values of common surfaces like carpet and drapes.
