The Beatles (White Album) [Super Deluxe]

Qobuz 24/96 Streaming

All six CDs from the Super deluxe set.

The Esher Demos are an interesting part of Beatles history and well worth a listen.

For those who are not familiar with the Esher Demos, here is a link to an article about them from Rolling Stone:

https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-features/the-beatles-esher-demos-the-lost-basement-tapes-that-became-the-white-album-630425/

The rest of the studio outtakes are fun to listen to but I never would have laid out the $139 Amazon is asking for the Super Deluxe set that contains them. If I had no choice but to buy the physical media I would have definitely opted for the 3 CD set containing the new remix and the Esher Demos for $24.

That, while I don't think the studio outtakes are worth the money it would take for me to procure them on CD, I do think they are worth the time , so if you see them on your favorite streaming service give them a listen
