Just completed and playing for the first time in their new cherry veneer suit. I suppose it's OK to brag about these since I had nothing to do with the design - they are a Jim Holtz / Curt Campbell creation. The design objective was to create a speaker that would have reference quality sound, be full range down to low C in the pedal division of a pipe organ, and play loud for HT use. Oh, and I almost forgot, they had to use high quality drivers and crossover parts at a budget of about $1K/pr including the enclosures. My role in the creation of this pair was to shamelessly copy Jim and Curt's design and push mdf through the table saw.
The final result is nothing short of spectacular - they have almost all the dynamics and slam of my Selah Audio line arrays with greater bass extension and better midrange. The soundstage and imaging are very good. At 60" height they are an impressive sight too. Best $1K I ever spent.
