OK, now that painting is done for the day it's time to sit down and do a little listening for myself.....

Sullivan-Mackerras: Pinapple Pole - Makerras/Royal Philharmonic Orchestra

  EMI LP (British Import)

A long time TAS Superdisc resident. I have been looking for a copy of this for probably 20 years and never come across one. Found it on ebay last week for $14 and scooped it right up.

Nice music and an excellent recording as well.

The music is a ballet adaptation of a Gilbert & Sullivan Operetta.
So a TAS recording for me and ballet music for my wife. This one was a win-win.  ;)

That's one of the things about Tidal, when you play an album, right under the track list they show all of the other albums that Tidal has from that same artist. So it is real easy to go binge listening by just picking off albums that you never heard or haven't listened to for a long time.
