Songs that don't rhyme
« on: January 08, 2018, 12:52:37 PM »
It recently struck me that some of the songs I've listened to and liked for years don't have rhyme in their lyrics. List the ones you can think of.

Saturday in the park - Chicago
I'm not in love - 10CC
Free falling - Tom Petty
America - Simon and Garfunkel
Breakfast at Tiffany's - deep blue something
Fast train - Tracy Chapman
Lady - Styx

There's a lot of country that doesn't rhyme on the page but does when they sing it. I'm not talking about those.

Laugh and the world laughs with you. Cry and you'll have to blow your nose.

My irrelevant 2¢... A friend of an old colleague of mine once had a local band named "Nothing Rhymes with Orange".
