I honestly don't know what I did Rich.
We haven't given Birthday presents to each other in ten or fifteen years.
But she's been sneaking around talking to Diana Hawthorne the past couple weeks about "What Bob wants".
Regarding where they're going, they'll be the new main channel drivers in the audio/HT room. The existing speakers I built have the "regular" Silver Iris coaxials flush mounted to the rear of the baffle. So installing the Sterling Silver Iris coax drivers will be as simple as poking 16 new screw holes. Even though they're all 15" drivers, I
think the holes have a different distance from the center. Just by a little bit, but enough you can't use the same holes. Either way, I'll have Sterlings playing soon.
By the way, my Birthday present to myself I picked up on the way home from work last night. A Ryobi table saw. Looks pretty nice. The demo unit seemed pretty stable and solid. Not the "pro" unit I wanted, but for $600 it should be alright. It's got a 30 day no questions asked return if it turns out to blow goats.
Walking though the isle, a Dremel "Multi-Max" fell on the cart. I've been wanting this tool for a while now. I think it makes coffee too.
I've got a three day weekend, so I'm at home right now. So before I play with my new drivers,
and before I play with my new tablesaw,
and before I play with my new Dremel,
and before I play with the RAM Rich sent, I need to go lay more laminate flooring.
