I opted for the silver finish- it was an option for the Signature model. I like the look much better.

Sharp looking either way. Nice clean lines without looking to industrial.

If it sounds as good as it looks you're in like Flin.

Looks like a great setup. I'm sold on integrated amps now too.
Enjoy!

The AZ Crescendos arrived yesterday. Their tonal balance is superb in my house. It's always a crapshoot to try and replicate what you heard at the dealer in your own home. I was also concerned that the bass might be too much considering the size of my room, but that has so far proven to be a non-issue. The transmission line bass seems tighter than that of my MA GS60's- something I did not expect.
The overall balance is fuller though, with a more 'relaxed' presentation.
I have not even begun to play with placement, though I'm sure that it will yield further sonic pleasures.
I am currently using the stock jumpers with Kimber 8TC speaker cable.
So far, with virtually no break-in, I am happy with this purchase.
Lastly, the packing and shipping of the speakers was flawless. They arrived on a pallet. Everything comes wrapped in velvet type drawstring bags, and there are detailed unpacking instructions on a sheet of paper outside the box.
More to come...

I should also note that I used Clearsound Audio in Patchogue. Neil was accomodating at the initial audition, and ordering and follow through was easy and went without a hitch.

Some placement tweaking (thanks Tom M for the Sheffield disc) has yielded excellent results. I have finally put the spikes on and it seems to have tightened up the bass and improved imaging. With virtually no toe-in they present a nice stable image with depth. The speakers are currently single-wired and jumpered. I'm debating about the benefits of bi-wiring and if so, what to go with.

On my LSA Signature integrated I changed the EH 6922's out, and installed some Amperex Philips SQ e188c NOS tubes. They also are making beautiful music. Thanks to Neil at Clearsound for spotting them on Audiogon.

I've probably got about 150 hours on the amp and speakers, and so far I'm loving the combo.

I have not yet hear these speakers. I have a custom who purchased a pair along with a full custom built system but never took possesion of the system. The speakers are still sitting at his place never being hooked up (that would kill me). I might have to see if he wants to bring them up to me (he lives in NYC) to sell for him which would also give me the chance to hear them with ap air of my 100 watt tube amps.

I still need to hear these speakers but being who I am, I would have to pull the crossover out to "look" at it

So... I'm just about at the 6 month mark, and I am enjoying the hell out of my stereo. The AZ Crescendos have stopped the revolving speaker door. Prior to them I had auditioned the Zu Audio Definition Mk 2, Reference 3A Grand Veena, and a Tyler Acoustics floorstander whose model I have forgotten. And I was primarily living with the Monitor Audio GS60 coupled with a REL Britannia B2 sub.

The tonal balance is still what keeps me coming back for more. My initial concern about them sounding closed in seems to have resolved itself, either through break-in, or my own acclimation.

I am using the LSA Signature integrated amplifier, Bryston BCD-1 Cd player, and the combo is completely synergistic. In several of my posts, I had expressed a desire to simplifiy my system, yet not compromise sound quality. I believe I have succeeded...
