In a digital world using a server over a laptop is huge. Especially if server has SS drive, Linear power supplies and lots of storage. I was never a fan of such before until receiving the Innuos Zenith Mk2. Now a Mk3 version trickled down from the SE model [only 100 made].
So good in fact with the Aqua Formula xHD DAC or La Scala DAC LP's are not getting much play time these days. Recently at CAF there were numerous Innuos servers about. I believe five rooms used them. A VG sign when manufacturers use them. Garbage in garbage out.
If you can audition one you will not be disappointed.
