WTB: Inexpensive Stereo Cabinet
« on: March 10, 2016, 01:37:29 PM »
My daughter is looking for a cabinet to house her turntable and receiver. Glass doors on front would be nice (closed rack). Not looking for anything fancy, just functional.

Have you seen the DIY threaded rod jobbies that Barry has? I'm sure you could whip up something like that.

What dimension are you looking for? 1 component wide? Two?

one component wide, about 20" deep. I can't use an open design, it would collect all sorts of debris. This needs a closed door, glass would be best I think.

I'm thinking one will likely pop up on Craigs list for about $10.

I just checked out Tri County today, but they didn't have anything. I guess a trip to Westbury is in my future.
