anyone have experience with Quicksilver V4 mono's

Does anyone out there have, or has had in their systems Quicksilver V4 mono's ?
I am considering a pair to drive my planar ribbon hybrids.
I recall hearing them quite a while ago at Audio Connection in NJ with Vandersteens and liked them.

never owned them but heard them several times at audio connection, always with very good results.
i own a Quicksilver MX 190 which I like alot,

They usually show up used for about $2Kish, very good PP amps for the money, IMO
System consists of an amp a preamp, 2 speakers a turntable and a phono preamp, Also some cables and power cords and a really cheap cd player.

Yes I think so too. I am getting the itch for tube again after hearing my speakers with Carver cherry 180's the other day..but sorry to say they are out of my price range.  A Mystere ca21 pre amp was used..I liked it so much I ordered one ,,should be here in 60 days..back ordered...Greg

I have never owned a pair but I seem to remember "back in the day" the  Quicksilver Monos were a popular choice to drive Quad ESL-63s.

I know this is an older thread but I have had several pair of these amps come through my door and in my opinion, are very good amplifiers. I have a few customers using them in their systems.
