I wonder where exactly would this be best placed? On the USB audio source? Just curious as I use 8 USB outlets on my HTPC, everything from external drives, wireless keyboard to CD burner & the Off-Ramp 3. In my case, I wonder just how necessary this ground lifter would be on my Off-Ramp considering I use a Locus design Nucleus USB cable and can't really imagine how much cleaner my audio signal could actually get. Then again like anything else, only a demo can tell for sure.

Me, I discount nothing til I've actually tried it in my system.  :)

Looks like there's something to this product seeing how Steve Nugent will be developing a "Short Block" for his USB cables as mentioned HERE for a projected price of $100.

Might just have to start picking up roadside beer bottles while walking the dog and begin saving up for this little diddy.   ;)
