Zu Druids

Ordered up a pair of these MkV's since I heard them at a show in Chicago and really liked them.  Who owns a pair and thoughts on the bass response.  Will be powering with a 15W OTL amp.

Congratulation on the purchase.  If you enjoyed them at the show the improvement is likely to be for the better in your home environment.

I own a pair after hearing Joe's (jbtrio) setup with Undertone sub.  I am driving them with a 2a3 SET amp (3.5W) and do find the bass response to be good but not great.  It also does not help that the room that I have them setup in is 30' x 14' with 9' ceiling.  I plan to either move them to one of the spare bedroom 14' x 15' x 9' and hope the bass is better if not will move my 12" GR Research Servo sub upstairs and get something for the basement HT setup.

Thanks gang for the welcome.  Glad to hear your SET works well. I have an older Velodyne sub in the event I need it but  am ready to part with some 1986 Klipsch Forte's and use that $$ to maybe get a JLAudio E series sub, which has great numbers.  This will be a 2 / 2.1 set-up in the basement, room to be finished but probably 15 x 11 with 9 " ceilings.

Welcome Brap, I'm the one who replied to your PM. I forgot to tell you I use a Zu Undertone, which is excellent. They can match your Zebrawood veneer.
 Sean would send you one to try, if you like. The pairing brings it to a higher level, IMHO.
