Interesting new speaker - Muraudio

Basically the guy took small electrostatic panels and wrapped them around in a circle, creating a tube that is filled with sound absorbong material to catch the back wave. This is paired with 3 woofers on the bottom to create an omnidirectional speaker. Pretty cool, and a direct competitor to MBL. Price -wise too (@ $48,000).
