It'll 'scatter' very high frequencies but not truly diffuse.  Also, it's only 1mm thick so it'll maybe do 10kHz up.

The material is 1mm thick but the depth of the tile with decoration is 2.25".

These look really cool... They'd definitely be better than a flat wall... nice!  I wonder if the manufacturer could do something even more raised?

Edit... Or, you could use their 'acoustic weave'

 Me I think it looks kinda tacky! Different strokes as they say....

My wife would shoot me if I tried to do a room with that. Room treatments in general are hard to get past her but those would never fly.

Oops.  My bad.  I was reading the thickness.  Same pretty much still holds true though.  6" is good down to maybe 500Hz so that might start at 2kHz.  Still lots of flat area and not going to do a lot in the time domain.  Better than a flat wall though - if you don't get dizzy when you walk in...  :?

After I posted this, I noticed that they do have a product called "Acoustic Weave".

I don't wanna be in that room when I'm drunk.  It's bad enough when the room starts spinning, adding wall patterns like that, well........
