Well, for one, I simply transfer the data in the liner notes that are distributed with the music. So, I never actually witnessed this firsthand. However, if you desire, I can readily make this recording available for you here on the forum thread to download. It sounds real, real, good. Clearly, an audience as you can hear folks, claps, etc. Whether or not it's actually in a gymnasium I cannot say. I can add that music distributed via peer-to-peer BitTorrent trading (which is my origin in this and all other cases) is vetted very seriously. Fingerprint files accompany the music, and the uploader is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the notes files. If it's found the uploader has blatantly and knowingly lied, the person is banned from uploading. Extremely rare that that has occurred.  If you want it, just let me know.  :)

Mahler's 5th Symphony directed by Georg Solti and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra on London.  Part of a box set of the 9 symphonies, and nicely performed, recorded, and pressed.

A GEMS production -+-+- www.shnflac.net -+-+- November 2006

This is an intimate portrait into a bygone era where excessive drinking, racial epitaphs and sexual innuendo’s were not just tolerated, but celebrated.

Your probably noticing the short length of the tracks, even the songs, well seems they were having so much fun a song rarely got finished. ;)

Although the banter may be a bit much, I would recommend this GEM for the music alone. I found myself identifying with a couple of these tunes and repeating them over and over even after I finished this project.

This my friends is a true GEM in every sense of the word.njoy!
