Better power supply for my preamp

What can I expect to hear from a better power supply such as this one for my LTA Mz2?
Tighter and deeper bass I would think. What else?

No cheap but worth it?

Just do it. Everything starts in the power supply.

In my situation, it was a more quiet, robust and powerful presentation. Certainly worth an audition if they offer a trial period.

Emil,
Take a look at the Astron Linear power supply on Ebay.  Find one that is adjustable to 12v which is what I believe your preamp uses.  Might be cheaper to try that before plunking down 600 bucks.

Example of the Astron - https://www.ebay.com/itm/ASTRON-MODEL-VS-50M-VARIABLE-POWER-SUPPLY-50-AMP-37-LINEAR-12-15-VDC/263641944747?hash=item3d6248d2ab:g:xmEAAOSwGkVa2j7D

Hey Emil,
I hope you can return the preamp, if you don’t like it.
I had one for a few weeks. With all the hype, I figured i’ll try it and maybe sell my preamp. It really sounded lifeless and flat IMS, even changing all the tubes to nos.

It wasn’t even close! That’s why you should always hear something for yourself.

Ok great, I’m happy it’s working out for you! The linear ps should make it even better.

The power supply is where most manufactures skimp. Puzzling as it is the heart of a component. IMO we listen to the quality of the power supply more than the circuit.
Eliminating noise is key to better sound, period. If I needed one it would be the Vinnie Rossi unit or LTA. We used LTA at NY show to drive the Rethm speakers, VG good stuff.
