dspMusikLCD digital crossover
« on: January 30, 2019, 06:43:47 PM »
The dspMusikLCD uses 4-AKM AK4495EQ DAC's and AK5497 ADC. The ADC has Minimum Phase filter capability. The DAC's have 5 different filter styles that are user selectable. Both the ADC and DAC filters can be accessed and changed via the remote control.

Here are the impulse response types available on the AK4495EQ, the only one not available is the low dispersion filter that is on the AK4497 DAC only.

A tiny bit of the capability of the unit and software.

Had fun doing a 8 pole L-R high pass and 8 pole L-R low pass using the high performance filters available and summing the outputs together to form an all pass filter.  The math says it sums perfectly to the original signal.  When you listen, you cannot tell the difference between that and a direct connection from input to output.
