Mike,

I'd love to attend.  Let me know, if there's anything I can do to help you.

Last time Greg's speakers weren't well served by the source, IIRC.  Hopefully this won't happen again - maybe let him be responsible for the whole chain so we know who gets the credit.

I'd like to come as long as the time permits.

I offered to host at my place, but Mikes house is bigger.
Bringing my system is not as daunting as it seems. I have seen some of your systems and they have taken root, not easily transplanted.
My system is just a small light pair of monos a preamp, cd and associated cables. I have easily set it up in other peoples homes for demo purposes.

As mfsoa pointed out, the sound last time around had obvious issues, this was due in part to last minute changes that were out of Mikes and my control. Even though that particular speaker was a work in progress, it had much more to offer than we got out of it that night.
My latest offering is a finished product, not a prototype, it just makes sense to use my stuff, one less problem to deal with in a different room.

As Mike said, this Rave was not put together with the intention of marketing my speakers.
No structured demos, no talks etc. I am only 40 minutes from Mike, anyone interested in that regard can come up to my place for a proper demo.

I think Mike was just getting nostalgic and wanted to rekindle days past.
Hope to see you there.

I was just goofing on you, Greg.  I hope my schedule allows me to make whatever date is eventually set up.  Sounds (pardon the pun) like it will be a fun event on many levels. :thumb:

I know you were Bill...just wanted to get a few things said and your post opened an opportunity.
If we manage to come up with a date we all can agree on AND avoid a blizzard, we will be lucky !!

Im in for December if it happens after the first weekend (12/6). Have something important that day.

How about I bring my 32 bit, 384kHz 26 tube output DAC with SPDIF and USB inputs? Basically my 26 preamp with DAC and USB boards built in, switchable for use as a preamp or DAC.

Damn I'd love to get out of Vermont for a day hear, Greg's speakers and say hi to Mike & all the guys. But it ain't gonna happen any time soon. I'm locked in 24/7 as a caregiver for my 87 year old landlady as long as she's able to continue living in her own home.

But if this RAVE happens, PLEASE someone take & post some pictures, hea? Party on!

Cheers

Hey Mike I would come if available. We need to chat. I'll bring the boxing gloves  How about an old fashioned Rave instead ? Meaning no Manufacture at all. Just friends as before.
Maybe some DIY stuff brought to assemble a system. Your Son's system would suffice after all the drinking.  :thumb:
