D - have fun today, I had thought I'd drive up, but my flight home from San Antonio was delayed by thunderstorms over Dallas. I'm beat this morning.

You guys got more excuses for not showing up than my kids had for taking a bath. I don't know why anybody would even want to schedule a rave at this point and go to all the trouble of doing so only to have nobody come. When raves are a thing of the past and everyone's lamenting: Oh whoa is me how could this have ever happened, think back to recently scheduled events and the lack of attendance.

Dee--Kudos to you for doing this today and hopefully we'll have a decent turnout and maybe we take pictures and maybe we don't.

Deepak

Thanks to you for hosting and to Chhaya for putting up with all of us audio looneys invading her home.

I was really great to get the opportunity to meet in person some of the folks I have been chatting online with for the past few years.

Tommy's new amps really impressed me. The first few Class D amp I heard left me cold, so I have pretty much ignored them for a while. But I have to say I was shocked by how small a difference in character there was when we substituted the new Cherry for the tube amp. Not only did the Cherry not sound digital it did not even present a flavor that I would have picked out as solid state in nature. And as efficient as the Zus are, they would have spotlighted any bit of noise in the amps, but Tommy's was dead quiet. Good Job!

And since I don't know who was responsible for preparing what food wise I just want to say hat's off to the Chef(s).

Jim was going on and on the whole way home about what a great day it was. He asked me to pass his thanks along to you as well since he is not an AN member (yet - I'm working on that.  ;)

Will pass along the complements to the better half.

It was great meeting both you and Jim today.
